Where we can we are certainly keen to look locally, and this is for everything ranging from vegetables to wines. We love working with and buying locally, we feel it provides us with a much more connected and healthy business as well as helping us to establish relationships within our community. 

Minal works with local farmers and growers to produce an array of unusual yet tasty vegetables, she loves serving her purple carrot halva and is always garnishing her dishes with edible flowers. 

We are very lucky to have our own personal local grower, and Minal will cook anything that the grower brings to the restaurant. Minal also loves working with DeliFresh, they supply us with the very best locally grown british vegetables. 

Earlier in the year, we continued to establish new partnerships our latest one with herb and edible flower specialist; Herbs Unlimited based in Thirsk, North Yorkshire. They have over 45 herbs and 10 edible flowers across 90 acres - providing us with the perfect opportunity to bring a touch of Yorkshire to our traditional Indian recipes. 

We are fortunate to be located within the Rhubarb triangle, Minal and Saif create various seasonal twists like Rhubarb Lassi and a fantastic Rhubarb relish for our pickle trays. She loves steaming Chard parcels, and eagerly awaits the beetroot season. 

Looking after the small business community is our individual responsibility, we are a small business that benefits from local customers. We like to feed that revenue back to our local economy and don't cut out the middleman, the middleman is our customer!
