At Prashad we bring you dishes from 3 parts of India, Gujarat, Punjab and South India. The style of cooking reflects home style recipes that have been handed down from generations; we maintain the originality through using the very best ingredients and keep to age old techniques. The chefs are keen to bring alive our culture and reflect this in the magical tastes.
Gujarati is a snacky nation, we reflect the best of the best snacks in our starters and roadside snacks. The cuisine is full of light and delicate snacks yet packed full of flavour. Our roadside snack Chaat is the best in the UK and reflects Gujarat perfectly.
Punjabi cuisine is more richer and robust, the chefs have developed national classics, try our Chole and take a trip straight to Punjab.
South Indian cuisine is a much more rice centric cuisine, a national favourite which originated from the south is Massala Dosa, Prashad has spent years perfecting this dish and boasts the best Dosa outside of Kerala. (The secret is in the dough preparation).
