Help Prashad to Pay it Forward in our community
We all know the devastating impact that Covid-19 is having on our community and the wider world. Every time we log into social media or turn on the television, we hear how families are struggling and how key workers are being worked to the bone.
The Covid-19 lockdown has left many of us feeling isolated and helpless – but you’re not helpless, and you’re not alone! Our community is what makes us, and together we can make a difference.
#CommunityChaat is our new pay-it-forward initiative to feed our local community during the pandemic. Every time you pay for your order, you’ll get the chance to add a little extra (you can also donate directly). Every penny donated goes towards lovingly preparing and delivering Prashad dishes to those who need it most.
This could be NHS workers, care staff or other dedicated key workers helping to keep our country running. It could be a struggling family with many mouths to feed or someone who’s just gone above and beyond to help their neighbours during this crisis.
Anyone who deserves a little Prashad sunshine – and you get to help us decide! All you need to do is start chaatting on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter.

Stay home, stay connected
Bobby and Minal will be posting weekly updates on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter, so you can see how your contributions have helped.
All we ask is this – get involved with the discussion! We’ll be asking for your suggestions every week, so please keep an eye out for our posts. Tag people, share our posts and help us spread the word about #CommunityChaat so that we can feed as many people as possible. All we really need is a name and means of contact, and we can take it from there.
We will try to reach as many of your nominations as possible, but please be aware that we may not be able to serve everyone.
