To celebrate, we’re launching something exciting: The Thali of Fortune. From now until 31 December, every table will receive a Thali of Fortune card with their bill, with prizes ranging from discounts to freebies to your meal on the house. And for one very lucky person, there’s a whole year of Prashad dining up for grabs. All you have to do is scratch to reveal the flavour of your fortune…

Free chaat, anyone? When global superstar Zayn Malik gave us a shout-out not once, but twice, during his recent tour Q&A’s, we couldn’t believe our ears! It’s always a pleasure to cook for Zayn and his family, who have been long-time customers at Prashad. But this was just another sign that our chaat is seriously special, so we decided to celebrate by giving everyone a chance to taste the magic for themselves. Our very own Prashad Head Chef, Minal Patel, took home the prestigious Chef of the Year award at the 2025 Oliver Awards. The awards ceremony took place on Monday 10th March, with the best and brightest from the Leeds food and drink scene getting all dressed up to celebrate.

The judges had some seriously tough decisions to make, ahead of the 4th annual Bradford Curry Awards.

After taking home Restaurant of the Year (People’s Choice) and Chef of the Year for Minal last year, we crossed our fingers and counted down the days to this year’s awards. We had absolutely no idea how it would go… So we’re incredibly proud to share we took home not just one, but two awards at the Bradford Curry Awards 2023!

We didn’t think much could top the joy we felt last year, after celebrating 30 years in business with our family, friends and fantastic customers. But we’ve been happily proved wrong. 2023 has been a truly wonderful year so far. There’s just been so much to be grateful for.
